Hi,
Sorry if the question is silly, I'm just discovering zabbix.
I would like to customize the Windows template provided with Zabbix. By default, the disk space alert is triggered as a warning to 20% of remaining disk space.
I would like to have several levels of alerts.
For example warning if less than 20% and the volume is less than 100GB (10GB of remaining space), average if 10%, high if 5%.
and for example 10%, 5% and 2% if the volume is greater than 100GB.
I read a little bit about everything and its opposite on this subject, including a trigger dependency problem but they may be old posts on old versions.
How could I do that?
The ideal would also be to use macros (I'm surprised that this is not the case in the original template, or else I found nothing in the documentation). Thus we could easily have a default trigger value linked to the template, and custom values on hosts that are special cases.
How do I know which macros are supported by a template?
Question directly related to this: what is the best practice in zabbix, modify the default template? Won't the changes be overwritten in a future zabbix update? And if not, how else?
Last question for the moment
regarding service monitoring on windows. what is the best practice to disable monitoring of a service. for example, I have tons of alerts on services like MapsBroker that are not important for the proper functioning of a server.
Thanks a lot for your help.
