Update LDAP settings not working

I have two Zabbix servers with different LDAP servers. They are both working correctly.
I'm trying to change one of the servers to be the same as the other.
When I fill in the new LDAP settings and click update, the page refreshes and the settings revert back.
The update function doesn't seem to take effect.

Does it work when you test the settings?

I had to switch from LDAP to local authentication. Then login as local admin. Then enable LDAP with new settings.
This is not very obvious, as it doesn't give you any errors when you try to change LDAP config directly.
