CPU and Memory monitoring via SNMP

    Hi All,

I have just deployed Zabbix as a replacement of Zennos Core since despite being very flexible Zennos has also proven to be unnecessarily hard to use for the task at hand here.

I have been working my way through Zabbix and building the required logic to monitor my systems, however I have not been able to achieve what I was expecting to achieve via SNMP. At least not so far.

The standard SNMP templates do a good job with network interfaces and disk space. However, the CPU load monitoring is not exactly what need and I was wondering if anyone has a template that can do detailed CPU and memory via SNMP?

If I use the Zabbix agent I can get it but using the agent is not exactly something I am able to do since I don't have access to install things on monitored systems. The agent also does much more than what I need but for now the SNMP approach will do just fine.

I did search in the forum for this info but there is a lot of talk and not clear solution. I could go and create a template myself but that I would much prefer to use the limited time I currently have to learn how to use Zabbix well.

I am currently running Zabbix 2.4.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Vin
