SNMP showing as connect but no data coming in - QNAP NAS

    Hi All,

I have got a QNAP NAS setup in Zabbix and I have attached the latest template as shared on the Zabbix Share portal.

I can see the SNMP is connected but I am getting no data in for CPU usage and loads of graphs/measures arent even showing that are listed in the template. This includes anything to do with HDD's

I have configured the macros as suggested in the share instructions.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Hello,

Have you tried to execute the snmpwalk to QNAP NAS?
You can try to troubleshoot the behavior using snmpwalk from zabbix server. "snmpwalk -v 2c -c public <IP of QNAP NAS> .1.3.6.1.4.1.24681.1.3.1.0" this command shall retrieve the data for CPU usage OID. It may be that within following community(public) you are restricted to get particular data using SNMP and it will require to perform SNMP permissions configuration on QNAP NAS. You can also try to see all available OIDs with command "snmpwalk -v 2c -c public <IP of QNAP NAS> .1".
Please attach screenshots of your configuration so we can advice more.

      HI,

Thanks for the feedback, thats exactly what I did to fix it.

Turns out I had selected the wrong snmp version!

Thanks again for the help and taking the time to reply.
