Is there a way to automatically switch Host Inventory from Disabled to Automatic for auto-registered Hosts?
My actual situation:
I have a growing list of PCs that get auto-registered to my Zabbix 2.4 istance. They are automatically added to host groups and linked to a custom template. This template retrieves mac-address and stores it into {INVENTORY.MACADDRESS.A1} field.
This field is used in actions (wakup/shutdown command execution) based on some triggers.
As long as I don't manually mass update all Host Inventory to Automatic, this automatism won't work.
What can I do?
APIs are the only workaround?
