    Flagging Alert after X minutes

    Hi,

We are trying to configure an unreachable alert to flag after 30minutes of the zabbix server being unable to connect with the zabbix agent.

What is the easiest way to do this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello and welcome!

The best way to do it for agent would be to set up a new item for a host with item type "Internal check" and item key
    Code:
    zabbix[host,agent,available]
More on the items here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...types/internal

    And for trigger:
    Code:
    {<host>:zabbix[host,agent,available].last(30m)}=0
    Best Regards,
    Ingus

      Hi,

We have set the trigger to "{<host>:zabbix[host,agent,available].last(30m)}=0" however this flags at the same time as the following trigger:

      {<host>::zabbix[host,agent,available].avg(3)}=0

        Hi,

We have now set the trigger to the following:
        {<host>:zabbix[host,agent,available].last(30m)}=0

This however still flags at the same time as the following trigger:
        {<host>:zabbix[host,agent,available].avg(3)}=0

        Regards,

          Hi,

Why don't you simply disable the other trigger?
It is obvious they will overlap and fire at the same time.

          Best Regards,
          Ingus
