I can't find documentation that says when to use one instead of other, or why there are two different agents. I'm probably just overlooking the info, but please give me a pointer. Thanks. Dean.
If I remember correctly zabbix_agent was meant to be run via inetd, whereas zabbix_agentd is it's own standalone daemon. zabbix_agentd (daemon) is the only currently supported version for 1.1 and above IIRC.
