I'm using zabbix 2.4 for collection perf. metrics from vmware esxi. Zabbix has built in vsphere templates with items and LLD rules, but I need to extend those metrics using detailed monitoring of hypervisor's memory metrics.
In documentation I could find any notes is it possible or not, or simple checks are fixed. According to vsphere documentation It can be collected by web service or powercli, but is is possible directly from zabbix's collector by extending simple checks (without extending agent and its parameters)?
If it doesn't exist, it would be nice feature to have, by creating item key in form of rest request (like existing items) that will be translate to SOAP request to get data.
