    Question on trigger expression

    Hello!
Would you please tell me if it's possible to have two (or more) triggers with the same trigger expression (but with different names) in the different templates?

For example, when I create my own template (say Template1) and add a trigger with this expression {Template OS Windows:system.uptime.change(0)}<0 to it, this trigger gets created in the Template OS Windows (this template already contains the trigger {HOST.NAME} has just been restarted with the same expression).

    Thank you in advance,
    Michael

I think you can... Have you tried and have an error?
But in some scenarios maybe you would want to create a base (more general) template and link it to others (specialized) ones.

Yes, I've tried and have NOT had the error - instead my trigger have been added to the built-in Windows Template, next to the built-in trigger!

"But in some scenarios maybe you would want to create a base (more general) template and link it to others (specialized) ones." - I wanted to create a general template and use it INSTEAD OF the built-in Windows Template but I can't create the trigger that already exists in the Template OS Windows - I think until I delete the built-in trigger from it...

You can clone this (or any) template, just open it and click in 'clone' of 'full clone' option, edit it as you want, save with another name and use it as base for others.
