    Using perfcounter

    Hello!
I've read this article about using the numbers instead of the counter names but still don't understand what the following numbers mean -
perf_counter[\234(_Total)\1402] (Average disk read queue length ) - I've looked at the values in the registry but there's no value "3":

    1
    1847
    2
    System
    4
    Memory
    6

...so what is 3 in the perf_counter[\234(_Total)\1402]?

Is there any other documentation on using perf_counter?

    Thank you in advance,
    Michael

To understand what the numbers mean in your case, you need to look in the registry value 234. Not 2 or 3 or 4.
