Can I monitoring 5k host using Ubuntu instead of RedHat Enterprise Linux ??

    Hi Zabbix community,
I'm new to zabbix and im just testing it on ubuntu but i saw the documents mentions about if i have over 1k host i need to use RedHat Enterprise Linux.
So can someone help me answer my question because my company wanna change from cacti to something else and i find zabbix is very suitable for it.
    Thank you.

You can definitely use Ubuntu. It's not about distro name but rather how you configure your server. There are no technical limitations in terms of number of hosts Zabbix can monitor on Ubuntu.

You can, but also depending on how many items/frequency would be good to use proxies (if you will use zabbix agent, of course).
