Configure Custom intervals for item type "Zabbix agent (active)"

Hi,

How can I do to an item of type "Zabbix agent (active)" that monitors Log (Type of information) to run every 10 minutes only from 8am to 8pm. Is it possible to configure in this item itself this execution interval (8am to 8pm)?

I asking that because for items of type "Zabbix agent (active)" I do not have the option "Custom intervals" that appears for others itens and allows us to configure the execution intervals from 08hs to 20hs.

Hi, the current documentation says that it is not possible: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...fig/items/item

If you really really want to use that kind of feature, you might use a trapper item with a script doing the work on the host.

You can search support.zabbix.com if they already have a feature request that you could vote for.

I think zabbix palns to implement scheduler for active checks in zabbix agent 2 ( go binary ) which should be production ready with version 5.0 ( Q1 2020 ) , untill then you can adjust things only on trigger level as mentioned above

I work with Zabbix version 4.0.16, I am looking for a template for the palo Alto firewall (OS: 8.0.9), the problem that before I can supervise the palo Alto firewall but now when I changed the network (new addressing), SNMP is active on the FW palo alto.
I look for a template Palo Alto ( os : 8.0.9, zabbix: 4.0.16)
