Problem : Queue

Hello,

I'm using zabbix 2.0 Appliance.
The Values per second is 7 - 8
Number of hosts : 210

I have a problem with the queue : there are 443 items more than 10 mn.
The zabbix poller processes is 100 %

Zabbix is on a Vmware server 5.5 : 2 CPU, 1 Gb RAM.
On the vmware performance tab, CPU is less 5%, RAM is about 20 %

What can be the problem ?

I think you do not have enough poller running.
Change it in the server's configuration, add pollers and restart the server, it would be working better after that.

I have set :

StartPollers=64

Isn't enough ?

I do not know, its depend of the number of items you have. Check the Zabbix data gathering process busy graph and if the poller process is still to high for you, add more pollers.

Number of items (monitored/disabled/not supported) 2152 1754 / 387 / 11

It's not a large installation.

How many pollers should i set ?

I'm using 40 pollers with :
Number of items (enabled/disabled/not supported) 7291 5802 / 1108 / 381

So I think you can try with 20 pollers.

Hm.. I think i did not understand what you wrote :
"Pollers" is the StartPollers" parameter in zabbix config file ? I set this to 64 since heu... 5 months.

So what ? Is there another parameters for "Pollers" ??

OK, i found the solution : just increase startunreachableprocesses.....
