conversion to node stops data from coming in

Hi to you all Zabbix experts.

I am testing node configuration on 2 VMs in virtualbox with Zabbix 2.0.9

The funny thing is that the data collection works fine up until the time I convert a Zabbix server to node with command "zabbix_server -n 1"

After that, there is no more data collection.

Does anyone know why?
