Trigger for same value over time

Hi Folks,

I have a script that I run thru zabbix that polls a device.

1- On
0- Off

I need to have 2 triggers.

1) If the value is 1 for >8hrs - Warning Level
2) If the value is 1 for >24hrs - Disaster Level

I can't for the life of me work it out or get it working

item.min(8h) = 1

for your Warning trigger.

Unfortunately, this trigger will firied immediately when the first value is received. (the documentation has a separate explanation for this).

Right, so the problem is when the item is first created ever and the very first value is already 1.

Obviously there is no data available to decide if that is worth triggering or not. But, if I'm not wrong, requiring values to exist for at least 8h in those cases could be done by something like this:

item.min(8h) = 1 and item.count(8h) >= number_of_values_expected_during_8h
