    Monitoring of SNMP Traffic

    Hi,

I am experiencing a problem in monitoring only specific interfaces of a ubiquiti radio in Zabbix. When I run the SNMP discovery, it monitors all possible interfaces but I just want to monitor eth0.

    Kindly advise.

    Kind regards,

What do you mean by "monitoring"? "SNMP discovery" does not monitor anything! But returns json with data on the basis of which data elements are built, etc..
If you need to select only certain values, use the filter option.

What I mean is: When I link an SNMP template for discovering the network interfaces in a host, it discovers all the possible interfaces but I would want to filter this. I am having trouble on how to do this.

Hi, as Hamardaban already suggested: use the 'Filters' option in the discovery rule.
The 'Filters' tab is described here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...el_discovery?s[]=filters

Thank you for the help. I was able to figure it out. I changed the value of the Macros used in the filters option to only display the desired interface.
