Zabbix Agent Connection

Hi,

I'm new here and wanted to ask if it is possible to use a hostname/agent address on both Windows and Linux (i.e. active-zabbix-agent.local) to connect to the Zabbix Server instead of using an IP address? If so, how can i do it?

Server: CentOS 8
Cacti Server Version: 4.0
Cacti Agent Version: 4.0

Thanks for those guides. So meaning I can use the "Host Name" (Hostname specified on the zabbix_agentd.conf) field to connect to remote agents without inputing the "IP Address" Field?
