We want to give a client access to zabbix only to see the monitoring for them selfs. This works oke but they will be able to add the "System Information widget" but this show to mutch so we want to disabel this widget.

Clone the actual Dashboard (rename it. eg. Limited), remove the widget, save and share (public).
Now make "private" the default dashboard.
When normal user login On Zabbix, only the "Limited" dashboard was available.

That is exactly what I did. The problem is that with a normal user without any permissions set on any group, I can create a new dashboard and add the system information widget and see all the information. I read the manual but didn't find a way either to disable this widget or set a permission to block new dashboard creation. What am I missing?

I just tried today version 5.2.5 on a virtual machine. With this version you have the ability to block the creation and editing of the dashboard for a selected role, so problem solved!Comment
