At least on Linux, Zabbix is designed to run as a non-privileged user. That means that in theory, you could grab the zabbix_agentd binary, copy it to a system, and then start it using your own account. Keep in mind, that's a horrible idea and you should never do that.

Rather than trying to get "the company" to give you admin credentials, why not provide them with a list of things that they could do to prep their systems to run Zabbix? If they do all the setup, it's quite easy to get the agent running.

Zabbix server and Zabbix agent can be operated with non-root user authority. However, in order to automatically start Zabbix server or Zabbix agent at OS startup, it is not possible to set it on the OS without OS administrator authority, so to automatically execute it Requires administrator privileges.
As for the installation of Zabbix server and Zabbix agent, you will have to either ask someone with administrator rights to work or give them permission to do the installation.
