How create my own agent/monitor ?

Hi,

I need to create a new data for zabbix, is is possible ?
For example, I want to geta result for a local database on host (orders, tickets, opened carts, etc...) and put it on zabbix database for TI team measure the network flow vs internal KPIs.
If it is possible, where I found tutorials about it ?

In my case can I access directly the database or is better create a log file in zabbix standards to read it ?

Yes, it's possible.

Zabbix collects data via what it calls items. Read the Zabbix docs for items , and pay particular attention to User Parameters, which basically can do anything via custom commands.

Probably I don't have the access enough to view the configuration menu that I found in tutorial above.
Besides, I see other fields/metrics, so ... I 'll contact the support team to understood where some custom items search information (or they give me the access to configuration menu)

If you see this screen after logging in with your account, you do not have permission to configure Zabbix monitoring settings. Ask your administrator to grant you permission or ask your administrator to set up monitoring.
