Email sending problem

Hey there I'm new to this forum i've a problem regarding email which I'm unable to send. I'm not sure what I configured wrong, but Zabbix Emails aren't being sent to our inboxes. hindiaar

Review the documentation for creating the "Email" media type with appropriate config for your site. That's a one-time setup.

Make certain that each user that needs to receive email messages from Zabbix has "Email" as one of their media types, as described in the "User media" portion of the same URL listed above.

Review the Monitoring->Problems area of the Zabbix interface after a problem happens, looking specifically at the Actions column. Is Zabbix attempting to send emails?

If Zabbix is attemping to send emails but you're not receiving them, you most likely have something set up incorrectly with the media type itself. Review that config, and review your email logs, to see if your email software (sendmail, qmail, postfix, or whatever) is seeing any attempted message submission from Zabbix.

If Zabbix is not attempting to send emails when a problem has happened, that's most likely a problem with how your Actions are configured. Review the Actions section of the documentation to ensure you have an Action that covers the problem type and notification type you want.
