Zabbix Server and Zabbix Agent using the same port 10050

Hello,
I am having trouble with Zabbix server and the Zabbix Agent of the server itselft.

First of all, do I need a Zabbix Agent on my server ? I installed Agent on some hosts of my network and it is working correctly:

• If No: I just have to uninstall the agent on the server and everything should be ok
• If Yes, how to set only this zabbix Agent to use another port from 10050 ?

Zabbis Server ListenPort is normally 10051.

You can change the agent ListenPort to something else, then in the host config agent interface, change the 10050 value to your chosen port.

The server uses the zabbix agent to monitor host utilization, you don't NEED it, but you will use it if you have it.

Thanks for your help. I changed the Zabbix Agent port listening to 10051 and it works now.
