Most of the agent Z signs are gray.

Hello there.

I just created a new zabbix v2.2.4 on CentOS 6.564 bit and imported my templates/hosts from the old v2.2 appliance.

On the graphs I can see the data is flowing but most of my agents Z signs are not green, but gray.

I have more than 350 agents distributed to 10 proxies with different agent / proxy versions.

Anybdy has an idea about that ?

I would turn up loggin on your agents and then examine the logs on the proxies, then post any error messages you find. Without some errors, it's difficult to help.

- how did you import the old data, via a database backup/restore ?
- check the trigger parameters, there is a bug when upgrading from version 2.x to 2.2 (see release notes on Zabbix website).
- check the hostnames in Zabbix. They have to match exactly (lower- and uppercase sensitive).
- check firewall setting, ports 10050 and 10051 in particular.
