Zabbix graphs PPPOE-interface users not working

Hi guys

I have an issue with zabbix monitoring graphs statistics for users using PPPOE-interface in our PPPOE-Server, first time user connects on PPPOE-SERVER zabbix monitors graphs correctly, after user reboots connection from PPPOE-server it stops monitoring graphs, it looks like OIDs change every time the pppoe-client reboots on the pppoe-server, because he obtains a new pppoe ip also.

is there a way to fix this? either refresh rate to refresh pppoe-interface OID automatically or put the OID to a static format ?


all the other static graphs such as Link bandwidth interface, and all other static interfaces i can monitor graphs correctly, its just the PPPOE instances that are giving me troubles.

If the OID's change, you could do an LLD to discover all interfaces.

Be sure the set the "Keep undiscovered items" to 0 and set the discovery rule to run every few minutes so new interfaces are quickly discovered.
