Can upgrade zabbix that runs proxy to agent?

Hi Everybody, i have some question to ask,


1. Im running Zabbix 2.2.6 with agent (Server A)
2. i have another server with zabbix 1.8 that use proxy (Server B)
3. Can i Upgrade server B to 2.2.6 with agent without messing with the system database and configuration?
4. Server A im gonna set as master nodes, and server B as child
5. Can i just Upgrade server B to 2.2.6 and still using proxy, and set it as child node to server A?

1.8 upgrade to 2.x anything will do an automatic db upgrade. I made a copy of my 1.8 db and tested, after several days, the upgrade hadn't completed. I abandoned that option. You probably should make a copy of your db and test and/or have a good backup before you try.

Any proxies need to be at the same level as the master. The proxy databases can just be dropped and recreated.
