There is no host inventory tree in Zabbix?

After investigating Zabbix, reading the manual and playing with a test installation, I'm really confused that there is no host inventory tree? Could someone more experienced confirm this as then I can abandon the project, because inventory tree is a must for a monitoring system no matter how advanced it is otherwise.

With host inventory tree I mean menu where you can expand and collapse Host Groups and click the hosts to see individual information and problems without leaving the page:

nope. its not this is one of the pain points of zabbix - automatic service(host) tree would push zabbix to the next level

This is really missing feature. Maybe someone can create web plugin.
