Applying a trigger to all?

Another probably newbish question. Is there a way to, after creating a trigger, apply that trigger to all machines in a particular group?

Even a link to something that covers this issue would help quite a bit. Trying to set this up for the first time and have it replace our current monitoring system, and I'm running into a few issues.

If your group of hosts all use the same template, you can setup a trigger at the template level, then that trigger would be valid for all hosts that use that template.

Hm. Okay... could you point me in the direction of how to use templates, then? So far I've been doing everything by hand.
