zabbix_agentd.conf - change time check on passive mode

Hello, through the zabbix_agentd.conf file with passive agent is there the possibility to change the number of refreshes per minute? From the firewall log I see two to three lines of log every second and I would like to decrease them. I looked in the documentation but it seems to me to be possible only with the use of active agents.

What type of traffic is bothering you (who is the initiator of the connection)? Requests from the agent to the server? Server requests to the agent?
