Hello people! I need your help! I'm starting to use Zabbix and to have a base I started using Windows 10. I performed the entire installation and configuration process of the zabbix_agentd.conf file. My problem is this: When I try to access the web interface through the defined IP Server (in my case 192.168.50.100), both in Google Chrome and Firefox, the page does not load, it gives timeout. I searched on several sites and even here on the forum but I didn't find anything related. I found something referring to the ServerActive IP, which must be the same IP as the Server. Checking the log I came across the following: 6300: 20200410: 212245.101 Starting Zabbix Agent [Zabbix Server]. Zabbix 3.2.3 (revision 64605). 6300: 20200410: 212245.102 **** Enabled features **** 6300: 20200410: 212245.102 IPv6 support: YES 6300: 20200410: 212245.103 TLS support: NO 6300: 20200410: 212245.103 ************************** 6300: 20200410: 212245.104 using configuration file: c: \ Zabbix \ zabbix_agentd.conf 6300: 20200410: 212245.108 agent # 0 started [main process] 7384: 20200410: 212245.110 agent # 1 started [collector] 6072: 20200410: 212245.111 agent # 2 started[listener # 1] 8460: 20200410: 212245.112 agent # 3 started[listener # 2] 10004: 20200410: 212245.112 agent # 4 started[listener # 3] 3500: 20200410: 212245.113 agent # 5 started [active checks # 1] 3500: 20200410: 212248.116 active check configuration update from [192.168.50.100:10051] started to fail (cannot connect to [[192.168.50.100]: 10051]: (null)) I don't know what to do anymore. I would like a solution. Grateful for the attention!

Sorry for the questions but I'm confused about a few things you wrote.Hello people! I need your help! I'm starting to use Zabbix and to have a base I started using Windows 10. First, you indicate you just started with Zabbix, but I don't understand why you're using an old version (3.2.3) then? Typically when starting with a product it's best to either use the latest version in the long term support (LTS) series, currently something like 4.0.17 or perhaps 4.0.18 or the latest feature release, currently something like 4.4.6 or 4.4.7.
Also, you mention Windows 10, but Zabbix server doesn't run on Windows 10 that I'm aware of. If you're having problems connecting to the server web interface, can you provide details about how and where that is installed?Comment

Hello tim.mooney! Good observation! So, I am taking Zabbix online classes. However this class is a little out of date as you can see from the version I'm using. This class I'm taking is free, so the version is a little out of date. The class teacher indicated this version, 3.2.3, so I am following the steps so that I can have a better understanding of the classes. But nothing prevents me from using the latest version. As stated, in class the teacher performs the installation of Zabbix on Windows 10. I believe that due to this outdated I am not being able to open the Zabbix interface. The installation procedure is simple, it follows all the pattern that I have already researched on the internet. Download the version of Zabbix, in my case Debian 3.2.3, unzip the folder and paste the files (be it win 32 or win 64, which in my case is win 64) in the directory you want, in my case I left in root of C :. Edit the zabbix_agentd.conf file in notepad ++, changing the data Server, Hostname, LogFile, DebugLevel, StartAgents and Timeout. After editing the file, run zabbix_agentd.exe in cmd as adm with the instructions -i -c. I did exactly these steps and as it is in the video class and the research I did on google. However, the interface page does not open. I hope I explained it in the best possible way. Grateful for understanding!

Guys, good afternoon! I downloaded the Zabbix Agent version 4.0 LTS installer for Windows with SSL encryption. In this software it requests the same information that will be defined in zabbix_agentd.conf. Well, I did everything right as requested by the software, but I still can't open the Zabbix interface page. I don't know what to do anymore.Comment

So you already have built a Zabbix server to collect data and are now trying to get a Windows server to feed data to it?
There is a book about it here. https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/current/manualComment

I actually created the zabbix agent to create the data. But I can't open the dashboard. So you already have built a Zabbix server to collect data and are now trying to get a Windows server to feed data to it?

Hey Alex, welcome on board. I also recently joined the Zabbix community and absolutely believe it was worth every minute so far.
Reading your questions, I tend to believe that there is no Zabbix Server running. See chapter "overview" https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...oncepts/server
Note that the "Zabbix Server" is the name of a piece of software, more precisely "[...] the central process of Zabbix software".
The other components being "Zabbix Agent" and "Zabbix Proxy".
Zabbix Server is absolutely mandatory, while Zabbix Agent is commonly used and Zabbix Proxy only used for dedicated situations.
In case you are not running a Zabbix Server yet, I propose to start with the Zabbix Appliance: https://www.zabbix.com/download_appliance
There is still enough work to do, but the Zabbix Appliance is documented here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...nual/applianceComment

Hello, thanks for the help! I believe that this may be the problem. Seeing some videos on Youtube, I saw many references to Zabbix Server. Maybe I'm skipping a few steps before I have the Zabbix Server. I believe this is the problem. Because I am not virtualizing a Server such as Windows Server 2012 R2 or Debian. I believed that only the Zabbix Agent would be able to monitor my computer for example, and from there create parameters to monitor certain items. I will follow this process, run a VM with some server and try to do the whole process again. Thank you very much for the light at the end of the tunnel!Hey Alex, welcome on board. Warm welcome.
For the basic architecture of Zabbix systems, see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zabbix => Section "Features"
The Zabbix Appliance comes as a preconfigured CentOS 8-VM (I believe when I downloaded it, it was based on Ubuntu 18.04), which you can easily install on your Windows machine (using Hyper-V or VirtualBox). As mentioned above there is still some configuration work ahead, but the Zabbix Appliance documentation will walk you through (and if not, ask specific questions).Comment
