    Items stuck in Queue

    Hello,

I've recently installed a Zabbix 4.4 instance and have around 150 servers reporting to it. I keep seeing the error for the zabbix proxy that says there are more than a 100 items for more than 10 minutes.

Checking the queues on the admin screen shows that there are around 3000 items that have been stuck there and that number isn't decreasing. I've tried tweaking the parameters on the proxy and deploy more DB syncers etc but still see no movement. Also, looking at the details, the items that are stuck, they do not show any latest data for them.

I am okay to just clear the queue and see if that resolves everything but am not finding any help for this.

I'm very new to Zabbix and any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Karan

The queue does not have any structure under it. This is just a list of requested and not received data items. It is stored in the server memory. Restart the server - the "queue" is cleared.

      Hello,

I tried this, rebooted both the zabbix server and the zabbix proxy servers but still don't see any changes. The queue remains the same with the only difference being it's no longer pending for days but the time since I rebooted.

This is causing issues where the latest data for these servers isn't being collected.

Any ideas on how I can correct this?

      Thanks,
      Karan
