Hi.
Since 3 years we use zabbix to reset a vmware vm machine when the ping fail.
Note: we can't use the vmware tools because the system of our vm is really old and unsupported.
Today we use a script to connect with ssh on our vcenter server : powerops.pl --server xx.xx.xx.xx -username......... but it's not safe because we do make user as admin of vcenter.
We want to know what's the best practice to make a vm reset with zabbix ?
I read the use of vmware API (https://vcenter/rest/vcenter/vm/VM/power/reset) but we're not expert in that.
I read also that is possible to monitor an host trough zabbix but not make actions to virtual machines, really ?!!
Thanks in advance for your help
