Is this still valid in recent versions (1.8+)?
A cursory look shows me that there's quite a few tables not shown there (11 in the diagram, 88 on the database), so i don't know if this was an intentional omission (only focus on the few that really matter) or if it's outdated (it's several years old after all) -

They haven't failed you... it's just a somewhat daunting task to keep up to date. Ideally there should be a dot file from which a diagram can be generated.RHCE, author of zbxapi

note that it might be a bit easier in 2.0, as you can use foreign keys to auto-generate most of it and just finish the few remaining issues (like screen element ref ids)Comment

Hi everybody,
I am trying to do a logical link between two tables in the database:
- users
- hosts
I have made a draft of the database structure but I cannot link the two tables above. Could you help me please ?
Thanks.Comment

Here is my current draft of my try to perfom a reverse engineering. Perhaps, it could help someone else to use the zabbix DB.
I am still trying to join the table "users" with the table "hosts"...Last edited by Fof; 07-02-2013, 14:09.Comment
