I would like to ask you how you can solve my issue.
I have host (storage) it has two controllers (because redundancy) so host has two SNMP interfaces.
The thing is that host by itself change the interface which is used for SNMP reading,by time, it can change it few times per day for example. problem is that OID for reading from controller A has small difference in OID in compare with OID for controller B, the last number "octet" in OID is changing, that is problem because when we have lot of unreachable OIDs (if im not correct please correct me) it overloads unreachable pollers and if im correct this is unwanted behawing - not good performance consumption.
Can you advice me what to do ? some workaround ? od idea how solve it ?
I already found information that this kind of host cant recieve traps because again - it has two interfaces, and in addition the interfaces are switching (one is active and second is inactive) same as the OIDs.
