I used Zabbix appilance (Zabbix 2.2) to test for 3 months. Everything was fine. I decided to wash in a production environment with the installation of version 2.4 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. The system works but the e-mail notifications are delayed 30-40sek. Where to look for a solution?

I would start looking in the Events tab to see when Zabbix is really sending the message. Then you could search the mail.log (usually /var/log/mail.log) to see if the times are close. If the Event is happening later than you expect, the issue is in Zabbix. If it is in mail.log there may be an issue with the mail subsystem
