I use zabbix since a couple of years now, and it is a really great tool.
I would like to use it also to manage my ISP contracts(around 40).
My idea is to use the "SNMP contact string" on our firewalls, witch we don't use, and fil in the date of contract expiration in epoch format, and to build a trigger witch will compare this date to zabbix server date, and trigger an alert if the difference is less than 30 days.
I read about the fuzzy time, but my knowledge is no sufficient to do that by myself.
