vfs.file.time with wildcards

Hello. Is there a way to monitor last modified activity for all files in a directory?

I'm interested in monitoring a directory for any new log files that have been created in the last 24 hours. I understand that you can monitor single files and their last modified date using vfs.file.time but this item does not appear to accept wildcards (e.g. //home/logs/*.log/)
