I need to give a calculated value on the dashboard

For years I have the desperate need to show the calculated value of a trigger on my dashboard. I've waited for this feature to come, but it somehow doesn't. Is there no need or am I missing something...?

I now show on my dashboard:

More than 50 lame clients (64 leases - 6 active clients)

That line is in a template trigger

More than $1 lame clients ({ITEM.LASTVALUE1} leases - {ITEM.LASTVALUE2} active clients)

I prefer to show

58 lame clients (>50)

The trigger expression I'm using is this:

{Template_Freetz:net.leases.last()}-{Template_Freetz:net.arpcount.last()}>50

If I were in your shoes, I will create one more Calculated Item to count

{Template_Freetz:net.leases.last()}-{Template_Freetz:net.arpcount.last()}

and then create a trigger, based on Calculated Item
