High ICMP ping loss template question

    {Template Module ICMP Ping:icmppingloss.min(10m)}>{$ICMP_LOSS_WARN} and {Template Module ICMP Ping:icmppingloss.min(10m)}<500

part of the ICMP ping monitor template includes a High "ICMP ping loss template"

if $ICMP_LOSS_WARN is equal to 20... Then basically what this macro does is send the trigger if the icmppingloss over 10minutes is greater than 20 and the ping latency is over 500ms.

    is that correct?

    Thank you for your response.
i did change 100 to 500 thinking it was the latency of the ping response.

for my "Unavailable by ICMP ping" trigger I changed #3 to 10

    {Template Module ICMP Ping:icmpping.max(#10)}=0

so that the trigger activates after 10 minutes.

if I set the High ICMP loss trigger to

    {Template Module ICMP Ping:icmppingloss.min(10m)}>{$ICMP_LOSS_WARN} and
    {Template Module ICMP Ping:icmppingloss.min(10m)}<100

is this not redundant with my Unavailable by ICMP ping trigger?

I may end up disabling the "High ICMP ping loss" trigger if that is the case.

    Working...
