ODBC monitoring without odbc.ini entry

Hi

It is possible to specify the MS SQL server name for ODBC monitoring in the "Item" rather than the odbc.ini configuration file? I need to setup ODBC monitoring from an Ubuntu server to many Windows servers running MS SQL and I'd rather not update the ini file everytime a new MS SQL is added.

Thanks for the information.

It looks like my only option then is to write extensions to SNMP on the Windows hosts. I was hoping not to take this route.
