I am evaluating the installation of Zabbix to monitor a few VPS on Linode platform.
I was wondering what was the best type of installation.
Is it possible to install the server part on a machine in my internal network (LAN) and communicate with the agents installed on public VPS servers?
Or is it preferable to install the server part, on a dedicated Linode VPS?
What are pros and cons for both solutions, especially from a security point of view?
