Create trigger related to a certain date

Hi,

is possible to create a trigger to raise an alarm days before a certain date? (for ex. to raise an alarm 10 days before 23 August, like a reminder)

Zabbix is not an alarm clock. :-)

its not straight forward but can definitly be done using a item and trigger. it has been raised and indirectly solved already

using the above you build a item that checks at the date/frequency specified. from there if the check is a value thats bad it will trigger an alert.

Very inefficient alarm clock but for other situations for example when you need to check a FTP location at a precise time, it has come in handy.
