Any document explains how to develop a monitor

Are there any documentation explaining how to design/develop a monitor... I see the monitors coming with the zabbix have many components like items, discovery rules and prototypes...

I want to understand this ? are there any docs/videos available ?

its all in the documentation, items and triggers are very easy to learn with just the documentation.

for Discovery it gets more complicated depending on the nature of your checks, personally i found that looking at other peoples templates helped me the most, since you can cut a lot of the chunks and paste in the item's you want to experiment with. There are not many video's online sadly but i feel like with a test environment and some hands on work its fairly straight forward to learn step by step.
