Zabbix solution with a lot of sites around the world

    Hi all,

I have this scenario there I need some input from the forum:

    Scenario:

    DC - Master site
    Zabbix Server HA location
    DataCenter

    GCC (Global Command Center)
Remote site that is administrate Zabbix
Dashboards with all information from all factories and Master site DC

    Remote sites (factory with production)
    Zabbix Proxy Server(s)
Dashboards that show status of monitored inside the factory items by Zabbix
Dashboards that show status of monitored the other factories items by Zabbix
DataCenter with local servers needed for production

Questions and concerns from the factory staff:
Today all factories have their dashboards with information from the factory servers but have concerns IF the WAN link is going down and lose the information on the Dashboards that is feeded from the Zabbix Servers and DB with information for the factories servers.
    1. So is it possible to feed the dashboards with data from the Zabbix Proxy Database e.g. Grafana (which probably will be the main tools for dashboards anyway)?
    2. If this is possible to use these dashboards to use the drill-down capability for the local administrators to use for resolving issues, for example?
    3. Can a Master Zabbix server also act as a Proxy and if Yes how to setup such a solution?
(my answer would be No on question 2 & 3 and also pretty sure that number 1 is No but still can see a way of taking data from Proxy DB to show it but no problems and other useful information will not there (having a conversation on my own now in my head ))

Background for this questions is because the local administrators today think that they will lose the possibility to do changes but this is not a problem to give them credentials in Zabbix front-end their site. They are also worries to work in the dark if the WAN link is down because today they can perform everything as usual and monitoring is running on site.

Thanks for all the input you can come up with.
