Cannot send list of active checks to "host-IP": host [hostname] not found

I've been trying to test active agents on my local network via AutoRegistration. I have the ServerActive parameter configured with my Zabbix server's IP address, HostnameItem=system.hostname in the agent config file and in the AutoRegistration actions I have "Template OS Windows by Zabbix agent active" as the template to attach. According to the docs, from my reading of them, this is all that should be required.

On the host side log, I see: no active checks on server [Zabbix server IP:10051]: host [Server Hostname] not found - with the correct server IP address and the correct hostname.

On the Zabbix server log I see a similar entry: cannot send list of active checks to "Windows server IP": host [Server Hostname] not found - again, with the correct IP address and hostname.

I've tested this with two Windows boxes. In the Zabbix dashboard, the hosts are created and placed in the correct host group, and I see information being collected, but the ZBX "Availability" status remains greyed out - not red, nor green. In the dashboard, the interface for the two hosts I am testing with shows port 10050, rather than 10051. I've also tested by adding the :10051 port suffix to the ServerActive parameter on one of the hosts, but this made no difference.

I've reviewed all the docs and searched for this, but I don't see what might be causing it. Zabbix is LTS 5.0 (on CentOS 8). Agents are 5.0.1.

    Thanks.
