Exclude services from automatic discovery - Zabbix 5

    Hello,
i am trying to modify "Template Module Windows services by Zabbix agent active" which comes with new Zabbix 5.
I want to edit macro {$SERVICE.NAME.NOT_MATCHES} to include all services that i do not want to be automatically discovered.
The problem is that field is limited and i can add only several services.
Is there a way to extend this field, or is this done some other way?

if i am not mistaken, this expresion is located under Administration > General > Regural expressions?
If yes, it seam s that it is not used for template discovery in zabbix 5.
Template has it's own Macros with values.
The length of these macros is problem in this case.

I tried of inserting macro in a macro but it didn't work.
      Any ideas?

Don't forget to delete the triggers from the already discovered devices, they will not reappear after thechange

Same here. google full of GLOBAL EXPRESSION exclusion example. go to admin -> General -> Regular expression. But it does not work. Did fresh install of v4 as well as v5 same thing, not working. this is embarrassing.

                Templates as :
                • Windows services by Zabbix agent active
                • Windows services by Zabbix agent
                Have macro {$SERVICE.NAME.NOT_MATCHES} in Macros:

                ^RemoteRegistry|MMCSS|gupdate|SysmonLog|clr_optimi zation_v.+|clr_optimization_v.+|sppsvc|gpsvc|Pml Driver HPZ12|Net Driver HPZ12|MapsBroker|IntelAudioService|Intel\(R\) TPM Provisioning Service|dbupdate|DoSvc$

and not use Global Regular expression.

This may be working? But only working after I deleted the host and re-added it. It occurred to me after re-adding these 2 hosts. Try to unlink and clear the linked template, in my case 'Windows by Zabbix agent.' I did on multiple hosts and no longer receive the BITS & trustedinstaller not running.

                hello elcoco

I don't know if you're still active here but I hope so so you can help me hehe
I need your help since I see that you handle the issue. I am not an expert in linux and neither in zabbix. I am new to this. I have Zabbix 5.0 installed on Centos7. I would like to be able to eliminate some alerts that are not useful to me. I would like to disable them. For example these alerts:

"BITS" (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) is not running (startup type automatic delayed)

"Retrospect Helper" (Retrospect Helper) is not running (startup type automatic)

Could you help me or guide me on how to do it, taking into account that I am not an expert at all, please. he he
I attach the image of the filters because I understand that it should be done from there but I have no idea how to do it.

I hope you can help me. Thank you.

                    Hello cyber thanks for answering

Sorry I read the post but I have doubts because I am not an expert in linux or zabbix, I am learning. As I understood I went to the Macros part of the template
Module windows service and there in the section SERVICE NOT MATCHES and there add BITS since it is one of the services that I do not want zabbix to monitor. after this press Update. I attach an image of what I am commenting on.

Am I doing the right thing or not?

                    Thank you
