Monitoring host with 2 network cards on different networks

    Hi,

Does anyone know how this situation could be monitored by Zabbix ?

Install the zabbix proxy instead of the zabbix agent.

What do you actually need to monitor? The Host itself or the SNMP devices behind the host?
In the first case, there are no problems.
In the second - normal monitoring in the understanding of Zabbix will not work. You can come up with schemes for requesting data from devices by the agent using userparameter and snmpget.... But you should not do this. Configure the network interaction of SNMP devices with the Zabbix server or with zabbix_proxy, and everything will work.

          Hi Hamardaban.

          How you doing ?

I have the first case, where I would like to connect the NIC 2 to my Zabbix as a host to perform some simple check, Would you mind to guide how to perform it, please?

          Thanks in advance.

I repeat once again: simple checks are done not by the agent, but by the server (proxy). Using libcurl or fping. You need a direct connection between the server and the monitoring object.
