Problems with gui messesaging and sounds

Hi All,

We have an setup op zabbix 2.4.3, and will enable gui-messaging with playing sounds.

Everything looks wel on the settings, but on failure of an host no message is displayed, and no sound is played.

We have tested with the latest firefox, internet explorer, safari, even in compatability mode an the lowest site security settings.

Do anyone have some idea?

Can you please share a full screenshot where you have actually configured frontend messaging?

Here i have done the config, see the attechment.

We have test it on the default dashboard, and our default slideshows, but nothing happens. In the mean time, i have also tested Chrome, but even there is nothing to display

Hi,

I see you have Zabbix Extras 2.1. also installed. Is it possible that you try frontend messaging on clean default 2.4.3 Zabbix frontend without any additional patches installed? Does it work then?
