Monitoring non-server sensors and other events?

I have a client who needs to monitor data coming in from sensors (level, pressure), valves (open or close), various leak and fire detectors.

I'm wondering if Zabbix is a good fit here?

The devices aren't real servers and the data would be posted, rather than pulled.

    Thanks!

That we haven't figured out yet, but I am sure we will have a solution. We will either push the data from the deployed site, or pull it in via some API.

        Hi,

Maybe this section of Zabbix documentation can give you some additional clues on sensor monitoring: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...x/items/sensor

        Best Regards,
        Ingus
