    Can't Add Tags To Triggers Created By Discovery Rules

    Hello,

    Looking for a little help here. Maybe I'm just missing something as I'm having a hard time adding custom tags to triggers that are created by a Discovery Rule.

    I am using a template to monitor my companies Exchange mail servers. This template discovers the Exchange services running on the Windows server and creates items and triggers for them automatically.

    We use tags on triggers to determine if an action should be taken when the trigger activates, and how alerts are being sent out (email, push, phone call), and to which team the alert is supposed to go to within our organization (sysadmins, netadmins, etc).

    The problem I'm having is that the triggers created by discovery rules can't have tags added to them after they've been created. This only happens with items/triggers created by discovery rules. If the item/trigger is created by a template item or trigger I can added new tags to them.

    Any help here would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your response, but it still doesn't fix my issue. The issue then is any trigger created by the prototype will have that tag on it. I only want to put tags on specific triggers, not all.
