I have a Zabbix 2.2 monitoring my switches with SNMP, and LLD works as far as finding all the interfaces and setting up the basic counters. This is OK basic stuff, but fairly lacking in ways.
For example, some interfaces are more critical than others and need to alert differently. A state change for an uplink's port channel member might need to be a high alert, while a state change for a servers' port channel member might be a medium alert.
If I change the adjust trigger severity for a LLD item, won't the severity get rolled back to the normal value the next time LLD happens?
